# Rankahead: AI Visibility & GEO Platform

> Rankahead tracks your brand in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, and Anthropic — and helps you optimize your visibility in those results.

Rankahead is an AI visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. As more people get answers directly from AI systems instead of clicking through search results, traditional SEO metrics no longer tell the full story. Rankahead fills that gap by querying the major large language models on your behalf, measuring where and how often your brand appears in their responses, and giving you the tools to improve that presence.

## What Rankahead does

Rankahead sits between your brand and the AI engines that are shaping discovery. It continuously sends queries — called **prompts** — to OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic, Google (AI Overviews), and Perplexity, then records the responses. From those responses it derives metrics like your visibility score, mention rate, and share of voice relative to competitors. When competitors appear in answers where your brand does not, Rankahead surfaces those as answer gaps and suggests the content and optimizations needed to close them.

## How it works

Rankahead models your online presence as a set of **domains** — the websites or brands you want to track. For each domain you define **prompts**: the questions a potential customer might ask an AI tool. Rankahead sends those prompts to the configured LLM providers on a schedule you control, collects the responses, and analyzes them to extract mentions, citations, and competitor appearances.

The results flow into the **Dashboard**, where you can see how your visibility changes over time, which LLMs mention you most, and where your competitors are outpacing you. From the **Content** section, you can generate blog posts designed to close specific answer gaps and publish them without leaving Rankahead. **GEO Tasks** give you a kanban board to track every optimization action — from building citations to adding schema markup — so nothing falls through the cracks.
