Rankahead includes a built-in AI agent that lets you interact with every part of the platform through plain English. Instead of navigating menus, you type what you want — and the agent takes care of the rest. Whether you need to create a tracking prompt, check your visibility gaps, generate a blog post, or update a task status, the agent handles it in a single conversation.

What the agent can do

The agent has access to the same set of actions available through the Rankahead interface. It understands multi-step workflows — not just answering questions, but executing sequences of actions on your behalf.

Visibility analytics

Ask for your current visibility score, share of voice, citation trends, or a breakdown of which AI models mention your brand.

Prompt management

Create, update, and trigger tracking prompts. Ask the agent to set up a new query, adjust an existing one, or kick off a manual run.

Blog post generation

Generate AI-optimized blog posts by describing the topic or keyword. The agent drafts the post and queues it for review.

Gap analysis

Surface the topics where competitors appear in AI answers but your brand does not, broken down by model or date range.

GEO task management

Create, update, and move GEO tasks through your workflow — all through natural language commands.

Domain and competitor data

Look up domain details, list tracked competitors, add new competitors, or review your Google Search Console metrics.

How to access the agent

The AI agent is available in the main dashboard navigation.
1

Open the AI Agent tab

In the left sidebar, click AI Agent. This opens the chat interface.
2

Type your request

Enter your request in natural language. You do not need to use specific commands or syntax.
3

Review and confirm

The agent responds with results or a summary of what it did. For write operations (creating prompts, triggering runs, publishing posts), it confirms the action before completing it.

Example requests

The following examples show the range of things you can ask the agent. These are starting points — you can phrase requests however feels natural.
What is my current visibility score?
Show me my citation trends for the last 30 days.
Which AI models mention my brand most often?
Create a new prompt to track brand mentions for my SaaS product.
Show me all prompts that haven't run in the past week.

Show me my top gaps on Perplexity.

Permissions and data scope

The agent operates within your organisation’s data. It cannot access data from other organisations, and it never exposes internal identifiers or system credentials. Your organisation context is injected automatically at the session level — you do not need to specify it in your requests.
The agent has the same permissions as your user account. If your account can perform an action in the Rankahead interface, the agent can perform it too. If you do not have permission to delete a domain, for example, the agent will not be able to delete it either.

Supported tool categories

The agent has structured access to the following areas of Rankahead:

Using the MCP server instead

If you want to connect an external AI agent — such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, or a custom workflow — to Rankahead, use the MCP server instead of the built-in chat interface.

MCP integration

Connect any MCP-compatible AI agent or tool to Rankahead using the Model Context Protocol.
